Your Role as a Room Leader

As a Diploma qualified educator, you will be a key leader in our team, responsible for:

• Building strong relationships with children and families.
• Upholding organisational policies and procedures.
• Working with the team towards continuous improvement.

General Responsibilities

• Lead, guide, and support a team for high-quality education and care.
• Ensure compliance with education laws, regulations, and quality standards.
• Implement the service’s philosophy in all duties.
• Stay updated on relevant theoretical practices and apply them as directed.

How You Demonstrate Quality

• Contribute to program development based on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Foster child-centered learning by understanding each child’s strengths, culture, and interests.
• Implement intentional teaching and responsive strategies.
• Engage in continuous assessment, planning, and critical reflection.
